Each Fall when we clean up our gardens we can't help but notice all those SEEDS that have been produced. Ever think that someone else may be able to use them? Someone with a new garden; someone who thinks your common fellows are special; someone who loves experimenting with seeds?


I'd like to offer a meeting place for Seed Lovers at our own Horticultural Society meetings. The idea would be [and YOUR input is very encouraged and welcomed], for anyone interested, to save and package seeds in appropriately labelled envelopes. Bring them to our meetings and place them at the Seed Table. We even have some little envelopes if you need them.


Label them with as much information as you can, such as

PLANT NAME:

[ Botanical / Common ]

PLANT TYPE:

[ Annual, Perennial, Biennial ]

REQUIREMENTS:

WATER [ Drought Tolerant or Water Often ]
SUN
SOIL

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Height /Spread
Colour
Bloom Time
Other info including price if you're selling them
