PLANT AUCTION
The Plant Auction usually takes place at the October meeting; alternatively some years we have
been selling plants at the September and October meetings.
Members are asked to donate:
• Plants that are special
• Plants that are larger (we don’t have the time to auction off small everyday plants)
• Plants that are in good condition
• Plants that aren’t up or showing themselves yet for the April sale
• Houseplants
• Gardening related items
Donated materials should be brought in early, by 7:00 p.m., to be assessed and an opening
bid determined.
We use a ‘Silent Auction’ format for some of the more valuable material offered for sale.
