I will define urban farming and talk about how Small Plot Intensive Farming (SPIN) can help turn backyards into viable farm businesses.

The slide presentation will provide background information on SPIN and I will discuss different scales of operation and possible incomes from each.

Throughout the presentation, I will talk about my personal experiences here in Nanaimo as an urban farmer.
